Ms. Carrington’s, THE NINETY DAYS OF GENEVIEVE, is an enticing read from beginning to end. In this erotic romance, we meet two sexy lead characters who I enjoyed seeing together every time. There wasn’t one scene that lacked creativity or passion. When we first meet Genevieve, she’s in her office trying to get James to sign a contract and use her company for his advertising. He seems more interested in getting her undressed then any discussing business. I loved seeing Genevieve’s thoughts and body language when James suggests a ninety-day agreement of sex. She’s thinking she’ll do it for the company and, after all, he’s a very good looking man. However, she is in for more than she’s bargained for. James is into more than just sex, he likes things a little kinky and he wants to be in charge. I was unsure how I felt about James at first. It seemed to me that he thought he was the best thing out there and he was above everyone, and I was thinking he was going to humiliate her, but as the story unfolded, I really warmed up to him. The first “date” we see them go on, Genevieve is told to pick up a box and wear what’s inside. Now I’m wonder what it could be, maybe something leather with a whip? I’m thinking that James is a little more interesting then to crave straight sex. When Genevieve sees what’s inside the box, she’s excited and maybe just a tad apprehensive. As the dates go along, we see some very spicy stuff. For instance, one of my favorites involves a sexy motorcycle ride, being tied to a certain motorcycle, several pair of hands touching and lips nibbling exciting Genevieve until she has to beg for it. And then James mounts her from behind and they go at it, still on the bike. The spiciness only gets better from there. We see several more exciting dates, also one in particular with a friend of James, who has promised to keep Genevieve’s identity a secret, for this is a big deal to her and James has promised to do so. So once she agrees to the extra person “just watching” things heat up and James has her lie down with feet spread so he can play between her legs while this other man watches her get off. It was very exciting to see Genevieve let go and really get into getting off while another man watched. She slowly seems to enjoy herself and her time with James. But then, she finds herself falling in love and isn’t sure what to do. There are other women he is spending time with and Genevieve isn’t happy about that. My favorite of the whole book is of course the ending. We really see what is going on behind the agreement they made, and I bet you will be very surprised. Congrats, Ms. Carrington on a great read!
