Georgina Coleman is
brilliant, successful in the banking industry and headed for a promotion that
will take her from England
to America.
Unfortunately, she is also a hopeless frump. Raised by her elderly grandmother,
she has never quite fit in. But America
is the land of opportunity and even better, no one knows her there. She could
break out of that mold—dress different, act different and maybe even snag a
man!
Georgina is hopeless at social functions; if this is going
to work she is going to have to approach it like a project at work. So starts
Project Seduction! First she has to choose a man and her new neighbor Rick
Matisse looks like just the ticket. Then she has to plot her goals and the
means to achieve them. What Georgina doesn't
count on is human nature and help from Rick's daughter. She also never planned
on falling in love!
PROJECT SEDUCTION has all
the bases covered; there is romance, comedy, action, adventure, mystery and
even more comedy. This is an intelligently written, well-crafted tale that I
truly enjoyed. The plot is well paced and the story flows smoothly. The
characters are very human and realistic. The romance is not rushed or hurried
and happens in a natural sequence. I loved Georgina;
she is at times shy, prim and proper—sometimes brilliant, sassy and
confident—then cunning and too smart for her own good. Rick is down-to-earth,
loyal, protective and fascinated by Georgina
and her many moods. The relationship between the two of them starts off on many
wrong feet, which is highly amusing. Rick's daughter provided additional comic
relief as well as a heartwarming angle. Both of their careers are vital to the
plot line and bring in the action, adventure and mystery. Sex scenes between
our two leads are sensual, graphic and yet humorous. You will love the
ending—although that is all I am giving away about the conclusion! PROJECT
SEDUCTION was a wonderful read. I really liked and came to care about the
characters by the end. Thanks to Ms. March for a lovely tale.
